Description:
We have an vacant position for an experienced field sales engineer to join the Sales & Marketing team, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
In this role, the general responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Participating in the development, communication and implementation of sales & marketing strategies.
Promoting company products and services.
Identifying and communicating customer and marketplace requirements.
Interface with the marketplace, in-territory commercial advisors, customer base and parent company on sales and marketing issues, by means of regular sales visits to defined international territories.
Coordinating the processing of customer enquiries within the timescales required by the marketplace.
Contract negotiation and review of customer Terms & Conditions.
Monitoring competitor activity and promotion of company products and services.

The successful candidate will be a commercially aware, mechanical engineering qualified individual (HNC or above) who ideally possesses knowledge of mechanical rotating applications within the industrial and marine markets. A tenacious, yet endearing individual, the incumbent must be outgoing and possess a willingness to undertake international travel and be focused towards building long term relationships with customers. Being adaptable and culturally aware, a computer literate individual, will be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, with the ability to negotiate commercial terms and conditions of business.

Design Draughting Engineers

Description:
Working as part of the Engineering Team and reporting directly to the Design Office Manager, we now have an opportunity for a Design Draughtsman to join the team. Primarily, the role will involve:
Preparing bearing designs for any bearing application within the Company’s product portfolio.
Preparing both conceptual and detail drawings in support of the tendering and contractual design processes.
Preparing parts lists that form the basis for manufacturing Bill of Materials.
Performing bearing performance calculations using the Company’s suite of software.
Undertaking structural strength of materials calculations to support the bearing design.
Liaising with internal departments, customers and suppliers in support of the above.
Always seeking to propose the most cost effective design.
Utilising the Company’s component databases to promote the reuse of existing designs.
Maintaining component design records in the Company’s component databases.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering, be able to read, interpret and produce technical drawings to a recognized standard and be computer literate with a good understanding of 3D CAD software. Additionally, the successful candidate must be capable of organizing their time and working under their own initiative to achieve target deadlines.

Working within the Operations Team, we have ongoing requirements for time served, experienced CNC Turners/Millers and Horizontal Borers to join the team.
Working on a shift basis, the ideal candidates will have experience within a precision engineering environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
